Corto
Maltes Amazonia Lodge is located on the banks of the Madre de
Dios at hardly 30 minutes’ navigation from Puerto Maldonado,
Peru’s capital of the biodiversity. Corto Maltes Amazonia Lodge
offers you to experience a trip based on ecotourism in the
famous Amazonian rain forest.
This lodge will be the starting point of expeditions through the
jungle. You will go to discover Lake Sandoval, whose fauna and
flora are stunning and luxuriant, the Monkey Island, the parrots’
clay pecking, the Fitzcarrald boat, as well as a huge diversity
of medicinal and curative plants such as Ayahuasca.
Corto Maltes Amazonia Lodge is built on the bank of the Madre de
Dios and stretches on a surface area of 60 hectares. It is also
lined with a quebrada (a river coming from the depths of the
jungle) which is protected by the Tambopata Candamo National
Reserve.
It is on this mysterious river that we will invite you to
discover the thousands and one wonders of fauna and flora of
this real natural paradise.
During the walk in the jungle, you will also discover a large
variety of trees and medicinal plants.
Our guides will be delighted to teach you all about this
environment with professionalism and a very particular kindness.
